• Each participating company will give 2 to 3 tours throughout the day, depending on the total number of companies involved.
• Tours will be scheduled for 9:15am, 10:30am, and 1:00pm. Unless specified, it will be assumed that your company can do a tour at any or all of the above times.
• Each tour/presentation should last 30-40 minutes. This includes time for group photographs. Groups must adhere to the set bus schedule in order to rotate groups through the Industrial Park.
• If you elect to participate, you will receive a tour schedule listing the number of tours to be given by your company, and the times of the tours, by Tuesday, October 19.
• The tour groups will consist of no more than 10 students and at least one adult chaperone.
• Students will be at least 16 years of age.
• Students from Mohave and La Paz counties will be invited to attend.
• Safety glasses and earplugs will be handed out to all students during the welcome session. Any other PPE should be provided by the individual companies.
• The group chaperones and/or a student photographer will ask if they can take photographs in the plant. Permission for photographs will be up to each plant/tour operator. We do ask that at least one group photo be permitted, in front of company signage, either inside or outside. Tour guides and other company employees are encouraged to be part of the photograph.
• Any cancellations or changes to your business’s participation in this event must be made no later than 4pm on Monday, October 18. Otherwise, please be prepared to conduct tours as scheduled.
• KUSD reserves the right to cancel this event based on any virtual or hybrid educational decisions made by the KUSD School Board at September or October 2021 School Board meetings.
