Who We Are
The Kingman Airport and Industrial Park was originally a WWII Army Air Corp Training Facility. In 1979, the Kingman Airport Authority leased the property and began to promote and develop a portion of the property with industrial businesses. The proceeds from the industrial development enabled the authority to rebuild the airport infrastructure and offer the airfield for new airport operations.
Whereas the greater Kingman area has 50,000 people in its service territory, the airport and Industrial park services a population of over 30 Million people located within a single truck drivers one day route to southern California; Phoenix/Tucson, AZ; and Las Vegas, NV. Located along US Hwy 66, five miles north of Interstate 40 and US Hwy 95, the airport industrial park is developed with industrial sized utilities and zoned for most manufacturing uses. The airport is capable of handling midsize commercial jet traffic and currently is parking 250 commercial aircraft.
